Class size is a maximum of 6 pupils. At this stage we use the Swim England Learn to Swim 1-7 and the Swim England Rainbow Stroke Awards.
This stage is for children who are ready to participate in the mainstream lessons from the age of 4 years and above. Class sizes remain very small and pupils are grouped according to their ability. Our focus is to develop confident and competent swimmers, who on completion of the award framework will be able to perform all four of the major strokes to an efficient standard.
